JPA Brenson Lawlor Young Community Pharmacist of the Year 2018

The newest generation of pharmacists represent the future of the profession and this award recognises the potential of excellence of those just starting out in their careers.

This award will go to the young pharmacist best able to prove that he or she is already making a difference in the pharmacy sector. This award is open to pharmacists aged 30 and below on the date of submission who have been working within any pharmacy for at least six months. For this award it is the individual’s qualities which will be evaluated, rather than any projects worked on.

Judges will be looking for:

  • Effective communications skills with both customers and colleagues.
  • A commitment to mentoring or other leadership activities.
  • A clear commitment to remaining within the profession in the future.

Who can Enter?
This category is open to young pharmacists aged up to and including 30 years old, working in both the independent and multiple sectors. Applications can be made by individuals or by third-party nomination.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.

The finalists will be announced in the May 2018 edition of Irish Pharmacy News.
