Creating, developing and training staff on new product. This Award recognises the multiple pharmacy that can best demonstrate an emphasis on advancement and a proven ability to create, train and develop product. This group will develop business models that substantially improve commercial performance, operational effectiveness or prospects by bringing benefit to the business, its customers and other stakeholders.
The application can be based on the development of a specific product or service and on the development and training of staff in new products or services. Judges will look for business initiative that stands out in scale, scope and approach.
Judges will be looking for:
- Demonstration of an identified need within the pharmacy community and details of the project implementation process from conception to resolution, including design and implementation.
- Evidence of plans for further research and development.
- A sound business plan, sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive the business forward with innovation and ambition.
Who can Enter?
This category is open to all multiple pharmacy groups. Applications can be made through third party nominations or by individuals.
All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.
The finalists will be announced in the May 2018 edition of Irish Pharmacy News.
